Gizella Turbok Coach — Budapest, Hungary
Gizella served as coach of our 2009 French Med/Espana Team. She was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary where she became one of the top junior tennis players in the country. To pursue her academic studies and continue her tennis career she played for the NCAA Division I Charleston Southern University, SC. After two successful seasons at CSU, she transferred to Barry University, Fl where she was a member of the finalists at the NCAA Division II National Championship in 2003.
Currently she works as a tennis professional at Ocean Club Tennis Center at Key Biscayne, Florida. While working towards her Master’s degree (2005-2008) she was also the assistant tennis coach of the Men’s and Women’s Tennis Team at Barry University where she received her graduate degree in Sports Psychology.
